What’s new at Paragin Group? Recap our 2025 highlights, from product updates to global expansion and future goals.
January 16, 2026

As 2025 has come to a close, we are proud to look back on a year that brought growth, meaningful milestones, and exciting progress across Paragin Group. Together with our customers, partners, educators, and colleagues, we continued to strengthen our mission: helping individuals reach their full potential in education, career, and life through innovative edtech solutions.
Below, we reflect on what 2025 brought us and share a glimpse of what’s ahead.
In 2025, Paragin Group solutions continued to expand in reach and relevance worldwide.

Our products are used by over 4 million users across 19 countries on 5 continents, supporting the delivery of more than 11 million tests.

These numbers represent more than scale alone. They reflect the trust institutions place in our platforms, the responsibility that comes with supporting high-stakes assessment, and the impact of making education technology reliable, secure, and accessible.

Behind every product update, every implementation, and every customer interaction is our team. In 2025, Paragin Group consists of 111 colleagues, including 3 freelancers.

One of the most meaningful organizational changes in 2025 was the transition in the Chief Technical Officer role. After founding Paragin and leading its technical direction for years, Peter de Blieck passed the CTO role to Remko Nolten. Remko has been part of Paragin for more than 20 years, holding several technical roles and playing a central role in shaping our development and product organization long before the transition became public.
Peter continues to be an essential part of Paragin Group in his new role as Senior Operations Specialist. This transition reflects what we value deeply at Paragin: building asting expertise, recognizing talent, and creating space for people to step into roles that fit their strengths.
In Peter’s words:
"I'm at my best when things need to be taken care of, software and code need to be made more reliable, or processes need to be put into practice. The more people-oriented aspects of being a good CTO—recruitment, team development—are less appealing to me. At Paragin, we'd already solved this nicely with a good Development Manager who took on much of the responsibility. But now it's time to hand over the CTO title, and I'm very proud to do so to someone who grew up within Paragin and is now the external CTO of Paragin: Remko Nolten. I'm proud that Remko is taking over this role from me, and I'm handing it over to him with great confidence."
In 2025, we also took an essential step in how we present our growing portfolio to the world. Our most recent additions to the group: OnStage, OnTrac, and GradeWork, received a refreshed brand identity. With these updates, the three platforms now visually align with the rest of the Paragin Group offering, creating a stronger sense of unity and recognition across the whole product landscape.
OnStage supports student placement management and graduation supervision, OnTrac streamlines exam organization processes, and GradeWork simplifies the submission and assessment of many forms of student work. Together, these platforms strengthen our ability to support students, teachers, and schools by keeping the focus where it matters most: each student's personal development.
The refreshed branding is about clarity and cohesion. Each product maintains its own unique identity while also reinforcing its place in a broader ecosystem of solutions that can be used individually or combined.

2025 marked a milestone that means a great deal to us: Paragin Group celebrated its 25th anniversary. Reaching 25 years is not just about longevity, it is about continuous learning and building solutions that continue to help people's lifelong educational journey.
Throughout 2025, we celebrated this milestone with a series of events and moments that brought colleagues together and highlighted how far we’ve come. We are proud of the journey and grateful to everyone who has played a part in it, customers, partners, and colleagues, past and present.

A highlight of our anniversary year was United Horizons, our Paragin Group event. During this day, colleagues explored the diversity of our portfolio through product presentations, breakout sessions, and conversations that helped build stronger connections across teams and expertise.
Hosted at the Anatomiegebouw in Utrecht, a historic venue with roots in Dutch veterinary education, the event created the perfect space for collaboration and shared learning. United Horizons was not only about showcasing what we do, but also about strengthening how we work together as one group.

2025 also brought recognition that we are proud to share. Our CEO, Jeroen Bakker, received the Dutch Association of Exams Honoree Award at the Dutch National Event for Exams, only the second time this award has been given for outstanding achievement in the world of exams and assessments. It is an honor that reflects both leadership and long-term commitment to improving assessment practices.
At the Main 50 Awards, which celebrated the fastest-growing software companies in the Netherlands, Paragin Group ranked 10th. It is a fantastic recognition of the dedication across our organization and of the value our solutions bring to customers and partners.
Innovation was also recognized through Solution Bot, our AI-powered chatbot, which was selected as a finalist for the Sett EdTech Award. Designed as an interactive math tutor, Solution Bot provides students with instant support anytime, helping make learning more accessible and engaging.

In 2025, our colleagues represented Paragin Group across major educational events — connecting with partners, customers, and innovators shaping the future of learning.
Highlights included:
From higher education to vocational training, and from assessment to internship guidance, we’re proud to be part of these conversations and communities.

In June, the Paragin team took to the water for our Summer Party, sailing across the lake at Ottenhome with eight boats, creative games, and a sunny barbecue by the water. These moments capture what we value at Paragin: teamwork, community, and the joy of the journey together.
And during our annual Christmas party at Villa Westend in Velserbroek, the whole Paragin team came together for curling, ice skating, and a warm evening of great food and conversation.

Looking ahead, our focus is on strengthening the organization while continuing to scale and grow in close collaboration with our partners and customers. In 2025, we launched two new teams within Paragin Group: Shared Development Services and Product Education. Both teams are designed to streamline information flows, improve knowledge sharing, support customer insights, and add value to critical topics such as infrastructure and integrations.
We are also working to build new partnerships that will deliver added value to customers. Updates on these collaborations will follow soon.
At the same time, AI remains a significant theme. For Paragin Group, innovation goes hand in hand with responsibility. We remain focused on developing AI-driven solutions that support progress while staying security-first.
That security commitment is reflected in a significant achievement this year: our long-standing ISO certifications have been updated to the latest version of ISO 27001. In addition, we completed several governmental DPA projects with national governments, all resulting in positive outcomes. These are accomplishments we are proud of, and we will continue to raise the bar in information, data, and privacy security—both internally and alongside our partners.
As we reflect on 2025, we are grateful for the interactions and collaborations we’ve had with people around the world. It has been a pleasure to connect, learn, and build together.
Thank you to everyone who is part of the Paragin Group journey, customers, partners, and colleagues. We look forward to continuing this work this year, with even more growth, innovation, and impact.
